About Me
Hi!
I'm Austin Jones. I'm a software engineer based in Boston, MA. I started this blog to announce some Rust projects, and write some posts about developing high performance message-based applications.
I'm the author of:
- tab, an intuitive, config-driven terminal multiplexer.
- lifeline-rs, a dependency injection library for async-io message-based applications.
- dali-rs, a GPU rendering library for fast digital painting.
I’m also a Generative Artist (see my portfolio). I use Rust and GPUs to generate intricate images for canvas prints.
I like working for startups, building reliable TDD REST services, and pushing forward CI/CD. I also have several years of systems engineering experience, deploying Dockerized applications on AWS EC2, and ALB/ECS.
